If you’re visiting Penang for a short while, you might come across a new shopping mall called Gurney Walk. It’s located along the famed Gurney Drive and adjacent to the Ascott Gurney Hotel.

Gurney Walk, which is part of Plenitude Berhad’s development projects, opened its doors to the public on 1 March 2022.

The mall has secured a vibrant mix of tenants, with the ground floor fully taken up with international brands such as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Subway, and local, home-grown brands such as Yin Sourdough, Four Spoons, Cueva and Urban Republic.

In addition, an entire floor within Gurney Walk will be dedicated to wellness, anchored by the 3,500 square-feet Areoma Boutique Spa.

The other offerings to look forward to include F&B outlets, hair and nail salons, local artisanal offerings and a plethora of pop-up stores slated to open in the near future.

Adding to its unique charm, Gurney Walk will also curate and feature art exhibitions and workshops, amidst other planned offerings and community-centric events.
